Learn to love the Process. Losing weight, bulking up, increasing strength, developing power/speed or mastering the technique of a lift takes a lot of time, effort, and perseverance. I guarantee you there’s no pill or miracle program that will pull your squat up from 225 to 405 in 6 weeks.
Know this… Your macro-level goal(s) will not be met quickly. It will take months/years of consistent, dedicated effort to create the opportunity to clash with those goal(s) head-on and crush them.
In order to achieve any goal worth achieving, you must fall in love with the “Process.” The little things matter. Creating and forming small daily habits (good ones) like meal prep, mobility work, reading, increasing H2O intake and going to bed earlier represent the necessary and incremental steps required to reach your goal(s).
So many individuals fail because they set unrealistic and uneducated expectations. As a result, they give up to soon. They fell impatient, and looked at how far they had to go instead of focusing on their journey up to this point and the present (today). Enjoy each day as well as the little tasks or commitments you have made for that day. Consistent effort day in and day out will lead to progress over time.
Don’t get caught up in the results, focus on the process. Fall in love with the process, and you will achieve the success you are looking for and more…
